Hey y’all!
If you’re reading this, you’re probably about to start one of the most exciting and unforgettable experiences of your college career. Recruitment can feel exciting, overwhelming, and maybe even a little intimidating (and that’s completely normal). Just know that every woman in Zeta Tau Alpha was once exactly where you are now, wondering where she would fit in and where she would find her people.
As Vice President of Recruitment, I have the incredible privilege of helping women discover a place they can truly call home. My goal isn’t just to help you through recruitment, it’s to make sure you feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged throughout the entire process. I hope that no matter where your journey leads, you leave recruitment knowing that you are valued for exactly who you are.
Joining ZTA has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in college. It has given me friendships I know will last far beyond Auburn, leaders who have challenged me to become the best version of myself, and memories I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. Whether it’s late-night conversations with friends, cheering each other on through life’s biggest moments, celebrating traditions, or simply having people who always have your back, this sisterhood has become so much more than I ever imagined.
Recruitment isn’t about finding the “perfect” chapter, but about finding the place where you can be completely yourself. The women you meet during this week may become your roommates, your bridesmaids, your future coworkers, or simply the people you call when you need someone most. The connections you make have the potential to shape your entire college experience. No matter what you’re feeling, I encourage you to keep an open mind, trust the process, and be yourself. The right chapter will love you for exactly who you are, and you deserve to find a place where you feel seen, supported, and at home.
On behalf of everyone in Gamma Rho, thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our sisterhood with you. We are so excited to meet each of you and cannot wait to watch your Auburn story begin. I truly hope recruitment is everything you’ve dreamed of and more, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things this journey has in store for you.
